Our effective Safety Management System was developed in conjunction with RoSPA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) and covers all of the key aspects of organising a school trip. School Travel Forum

We are founding members of the School Travel Forum, dedicated to promoting best practice and safety in school travel. All Full Members of the STF adhere to a rigorous and that are externally verified each year by leading Health and Safety consultants and we comply to the STF code of practice.

HASPEV guidelines
All our procedures are in line with DfES guide “Health and Safety of Pupils on Educational visits” (HASPEV) and our Health and Safety policy covers all aspects of safety on your trip.

Your complete financial security   

We are a fully licensed and bonded tour operator. You can book with us in complete confidence that that the money you pay is fully protected. For coach holidays we comply with the bonding requirements of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA). The air holidays and flights we offer are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 5525.

Inspection Visits
In order to familiarise yourself with the way we operate, or with a specific resort, Acorn Ski is pleased to offer you a free Inspection Visit.

Accommodation
We choose the most comfortable hotels specially selected for their suitability for schools and groups. All our accommodation has been inspected by a senior member of Acorn staff to ensure they adhere to STF standards as a minimum. We always monitor our suppliers’ standards and expect them to share the same safety ethos as us.
